Did you know that cell phones will still call 911 with no service in SOS mode?

For medical emergencies, the Restoule Volunteer Fire Department will respond until ambulance service is available.

Alert Ready is Canada’s official emergency alerting system, designed to help local and national authorities quickly share critical information with the public. In partnership with federal, provincial and territorial agencies, as well as broadcasters, wireless providers and Environment and Climate Change Canada, the system delivers urgent alerts through TV, radio and mobile devices. A Vulnerable Persons Registry is a confidential list of individuals who may require special assistance during a large scale emergency (ice storm, tornado, etc.) due to age, disability, medical conditions or other factors. This information will remain confidential but shared with relevant organizations when needed, enabling them to respond quickly and provide effective assistance to the registrant.
